Ahead Of 2019: Emeh Urges Rivers Youths To Be Steadfast “…There Is Enough Room For All In Wike’s Administration”

(By Iheanyi Ezinwo) -Youths of Rivers State have been assured that no one will be left behind in the various development schemes of the administration of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike which are aimed at restoring the confidence of the people in government.
The assurance was given by Chief Emeh Glory Emeh, Special Adviser to Governor Wike on Political Matters and Strategy at the distribution of Governor Wike’s Christmas and New Year gifts to Rivers people at Isiodu, in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state over the weekend.
Barr. Emeh, who was former Chief of Staff, Government House, Rivers State, also observed that the gifts, coming at a time when most states are unable to meet the basic needs of their people, is an eloquent testimony that Wike gives priority attention to the welfare of all who live and do business in the state, irrespective of their political and tribal affiliations.
He described Governor Wike as a man with capacity and experience to continue to provide leadership, while calling on Rivers people, particularly the youths to shun violence and rally round the governor as the administration moves forward to Wike’s constitutional second term in office in 2019.
The elder statesman, who was former commissioner for transport and aviation in the state also used the opportunity to thank Rivers Elders Consultative Council under the leadership of Chief (Dr.) Granville Abiye Georgewill and Coalition of Rivers Patriots led by Barr. Thompson Barilede, for their unflinching support for the administration of Governor Wike, urging them not to relent as the governor remains committed to taking human and infrastructural developments in the state to greater heights.
The presentation of gifts, which took place at the country home of Chief Emeka Woke, Chief of Staff. Rivers State Government House, also had other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the area including Prince Paul Wonodi, South South Women leader, Ms. Justina Emeji and Hon. Sam Ogeh, member representing Emohua at the Rivers State House of Assembly among others.
