(By Amie Ofori)-The match between Nigeria and Iceland Friday in the on going World Cup in Russia went the way of soccer loving Nigerians as the improved Super Eagles overwhelmed the Iceland team with 2 unreplied goals.

The hero of the match was Ahmed Musa, who scored the two goals in the second half of the game where Iceland lost a penalty opportunity to score.

Nigeria’s next and last game in the Group stage is with Argentina on Tuesday, while Iceland will tackle the giant killing Croatia, that humbled Argentina, parading Loinel Messi 3-0 in their last match.

In their opening games, Nigeria lost 0-2 to Croatia, while Iceland played 1-1 with Argentina.
Nigerians are excited with the victory and it does appear that the prophetic declaration of Gerrot Rohr, Super Eagles Coach that Nigeria will defeat Iceland and Argentina to qualify is coming to pass.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Musa, who had scored two goals in a previous World Cup would be the first Nigerian to score four World Cup goals.
