(By Iheanyi Ezinwo)- The notable Kalabari chief and politican in Rivers State, Chief Ferdinand Alabraba, has declared that the people of Kalabari and other ethnic nationalities in the Rivers West senatorial district will vote for Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike again in 2019 because, according to him, the governor has touched all the eight Local Government Areas of the district .
Chief Alabraba, who chairs the board of Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority was speaking at a rally in Ahoada on Monday, said that leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party from the eight local government areas of Rivers West Senatorial District where unanimous on the endorsement of the governor for a second term, and will vote for him overwhelmingly in 2019 because of his excellent performance during his first term in office.
The declaration of Chief Alabraba was corroborated by former Minister of Sports, Dr Tammy Danagogo and other speakers at the occasion, where a minute silence was observed in honour of the late Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Rivers State, Mr. Emmanuel Chinwe Aguma, SAN.
In his response, Governor Wike said the PDP would win the 2019 elections in Rivers State in honour of the late Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Emmanuel Chinwe Aguma.
Urging the people to expect alignments and re-alignments before the 2019 elections, the governor warned against the use of security agencies to rig elections in the country, adding that the ruling APC has nothing to show after three years in office.
