Com. Wokoma Shares Proceeds Of Government Contract With GDI, PDP Loyalists In ASALGA

(By Iheanyi Ezinwo & Silas Ofori) -A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Grassroots Development Initiative, GDI, in the Asari –Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, Comrade Ibisobebo D. Wokoma has put smiles on the faces of GDI and party loyalists, as well as other indigenes and non indigenes living and doing business in the area.
Speaking at the colourful ceremony at Pepple’s compound square in Buguma last Saturday, Comrade Wokoma, who is also known as crusader of the New Rivers Vision in Asari-Toru LGA, lauded Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike for giving him the contract to reconstruct the Oproama Community Secondary School in Asari-Toru, and that, in appreciation to God and to the governor, he decided to share the ‘first fruits’ with his brothers and sisters in the local government area.

Excited at the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of indigenes and non indigenes in Asari-Toru Local Governement Area, Comrade Ibisobebo Wokoma commended Governor Wike for his developmental programmes in Kalabari kingdom and the entire Rivers State, initiatives he said inspired well meaning Nigerians to refer to him as Mr. Project.
The crusader, who warned that plans by the opposition to write the 2019 election results in the state will fail, declared that the local government area is for the PDP and Governor Wike.

Among those who benefited from the magnanimity of Comrade Wokoma were Diepriye Harry, who was given a Lexus Jeep for faithfully supervising the project; Elder Lloyd Princewill and Mr. Tekenari Sunday, who went home with one Toyota Camry car each.
Tamunokuro Brango, PDP chairman and coordinator of GDI ward 6 was given a plot of land for his tireless mobilisation for the PDP and GDI in the area; bundles of zinc were given out to many while two hundred people from the 13 wards in Asari-Toru LGA, including youths, Muslims and non indigenes went home with the sum of twenty thousand naira each.
The rewards also extended to Jackson Cottrel, who was given a starter pack to enable him start barbing business.
The beneficiaries who spoke to Notable Outcome at the event described Comrade Ibisobebo Wokoma as the Moses of their time. They also praised him for following in the footsteps of Governor Ezenwo Wike by making a difference in the lives of the people of Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
