Crowd at the WSM inauguration in Emohua LGA

The people of Emohua Local Government Area last Thursday trooped out in their numbers to witness the inauguration of local government and ward executives of Wike Solidarity Movement, WSM, in the area.

Speaking at the occasion, the chairman of Board of Trustees of WSM, Dr. Gabriel Pidomson used the opportunity to encourage the people to remain resolute in their support for Gov Nyesom wike especially as the general election is around the corner.

He reminded them of the good works of His Excellency, Chief Barr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the executive Governor of Rivers State especially in the areas of infrastructure, security, education, and human capital development.
His words: “The election is not about his Excellency, the election is about our voice, our choice and our right, Register to vote”.
While inaugurating the executive members, the Director General of Wike Solidarity Movement, Prince Sudor Nwiyor advised them to mobilise for the forthcoming elections in 2019.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser to Governor Wike on Political Matters and Strategy, Chief Emeh Glory Emeh declared that, there is no alternative to Wike in 2019 because of his superlative performance in transforming Rivers State in three years, with standard infrastructure and other people oriented projects and programs. He therefore encouraged the people to reciprocate the sincere commitment of the governor by arming themselves with Voter’s Cards, with which to freely re-elect him in 2019.
In a solidarity speech, Surveyor Sam Agwor, chairman of Rivers State Road Maintenance Agency, reiterated his commitment to the leadership and administration of Barr. Nyesom Wike, while arguing that, “APC knows they won’t win the smallest seat in the council elections, that’s why they decided to back out completely”.

Also speaking, Hon. Sam Ogeh, member of the Rivers State House of Assembly representing Emohua state constituency commended the governor for fulfilling his promises to Rivers people, adding that PDP has a good plan for River state.

Responding, the Caretaker Chairman of Emohua council, Hon. Azubuike Odum warned those with intentions to rig the 2019 elections to stay away from the area, as according to him, Emohua Local Government Area would be too hot for them.
Meanwhile, the WSM train has also moved to Asari-Toru, Etche and Oyigbo Local Government Areas of the state during the week where local government and ward executives were also inaugurated and the enthusiastic crowd told that, there is no alternative to Governor Wike in 2019 because of his high impact projects that visible across the state.
