Llyod’s Attack On Chindah In 2013: Rivers Lawmakers Line Up To Testify Against Former House Leader

Written by Notable Outcome

(By Silas Amie)-Hons. Kelechi Nwogu, Martins Amaewhule, Victor Ihunwo and other lawmakers at the Rivers State House of Assembly are set to testify against former leader of the Assembly, Hon. Chidi Llyod in the re-opened prosecution of the former lawmaker over his violent attack on Hon. Michael Chinda with the mace in 2013.

It would be recalled that the police had initiated the process of prosecuting the former lawmaker but the immediate past administration of Chibuik Amaechi stopped his prosecution through the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.

However, the current administration of Governor Nyesom Wike is re-opening the case with a number of lawmakers line up to testify, but Chidi Llyod is alleging political motive.
