No Other Party Has What It Takes to Challenge  PDP In Rivers State, Says Chief Of Staff

By Jackson Owhor:

As Nigerians look forward to the February and March elections this year, it has been observed that no other party has what it takes to challenge for offices with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

This observation was made by Engr. Emeka Woke, Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, while speaking on the sidelines of the PDP’s campaign rally at Rumuji in the Emohua Local Government Area, LGA, of the state on Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, adding that “the people of Emohua LGA are very prepared to win all her elections”.

The Chief of Staff further said that the people of Emohua are very happy and are ready to deliver all her candidates because over 100 kilometers of roads have been inaugurated and completed in the area by the Governor Nyesom Wike administration.

“Emohua Local Government is one of the LGAs that have benefited more from this administration. Some communities like Akpabu, Itu and Omudioga have never seen a road in their life time.

“In the educational sector, Emohua have benefited also. The list includes the Rivers State University, Emohua Campus; the ongoing rebuilding of Government Secondary School Emohua as well as appointment of my humble self as the Chief of Staff; Prof. Okogbule Nlerum, Vice – Chancelor at Rivers State University; Prof. Okechukwu Onuchukwu, Vice – Chancelor at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education and many others.

” Looking at the number of people here, there is no other party that has what it takes to contest with PDP in the Emohua LGA and Rivers State”, the Chief of Staff concluded.
