(By Chris K.Amadi)-The campaign of Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications: ’Our State, Our Responsibility’, to mobilize all who live and do business in Rivers state to be their brother’s keeper and also support the development efforts of government has been endorsed by the management of Notable Outcome newspaper.

Speaking last Friday when the Permanent Secretary of the Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, led directors of the ministry on an advocacy visit to the office of Notable Outcome in Port Harcourt, publisher of the global news medium, Iheanyi Ezinwo, thanked the team for the visit, pledging the support of Notable Outcome for the initiative which he described as timely, especially, against the back ground of growing security concerns in parts of the state.

Mr. Ezinwo further explained that, Notable Outcome has always maintained a collaborative posture towards the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike in the state and would continue to support the administration as a Rivers man but prayed for a mutually beneficial relationship.

Earlier in his address, the Permanent Secretary, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, had lauded the management of Notable Outcome for sustaining the business over the years and for also proving to be a worthy supporter of the Rivers State government.

He said that their visit was to seek the collaboration of Notable Outcome in ‘Our State Our Responsibility’ campaign, which is aimed at further educating the citizens of the laudable achievements of Governor Wike administration and the need for every one to live up to his or her civic responsibilities for a better society.

Pastor Nsirim, who observed that the prosperity of individuals depends on the prosperity of the state, however condemned attempts by some selfish individuals to de-market the state. He stressed that the governor has demonstrated high commitment to the protection of lives and property in the state, the reason why, according to him, for the umpteenth time, the governor recently provided 40 patrol vans to support the new security infrastructure in the state.

He assured that Rivers State is safe for business, and that her people have a welcoming culture, just as he added that Governor Wike has changed the infrastructural deficit in the state.

The visit featured the presentation of gifts on both sides and group photographs. The directors, who accompanied the permanent secretary on the visit were Mr. Obelle Chu (Public Enlightenment), Mr. Kenneth Okujagu (ICT), Dan Fiberesima Oruwari ( PRS) and Mr. Valentine Ugbonma (Publications).
