Ogbia And Epie Language Bibles Due for Dedication

The First Ogbia and First Epie Language New Testament Bibles in Bayelsa State are now ready for dedication. The was disclosed in a joint statement issued by the Chairman of Rivers/Bayelsa Area of Bible Society of Nigeria, Elder Omoni Ayo-Tamuno and the Senior Manager, Church and Public Relations Bible Society of Nigeria Headquarters, Mr Samuel Adesola Sanusi, shortly after the Central Planning Committee Meeting of the Dedication of the two Bibles in Yenagoa recently.

According to the statement, the Ogbia Language Bible would be dedicated on Tuesday, September 22, while that of Epie would take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, with the Immediate past President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan as the Chief Host, while his wife, Mrs Patience Jonathan would be the Chief Hostess.

It added that government functionaries, Church heads and other very important personalities within and outside, Bayelsa State would grace the ceremonies.

The two Bibles are the first language Bibles to be dedicated in Bayelsa State since its creation.
