Saraki Now To Respond In Writing, As Gang Leader Speaks Of Links With Senator, Kwara Governor

(By Iheanyi Ezinwo)-Following revelations from suspects in the recent Offa bank robbery in Kara State which led to the killing of policemen and passers by, Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki was summoned, and he agreed to appear before a police team at the headquarters to say all he knows about the gang and the killings.
However, while the dust raised by the invitation was yet to settle, Nigeria Police had a rethink and demanded instead for a response in writing in 24 hours, as tweetted by Saraki, on Monday.
Meanwhile, it does appear that the alleged leader of the gang that carried out the Offa robbery made some statements that suggested he had links with the senate president, Bukola Saraki and Governor AbdulFatai Ahmed of Kwara State but the senate president has since denied the allegations against him.
In its findings however, reports ‘What Gang Leader of Offa Bank robbery Said About Saraki, Kwara State Governor’: Here is the interview they had with the gang leader:
