Wike for Positive Change felicitates with the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike (CON) for successfully hosting the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the resultant transparent production of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as its Presidential Flag Bearer come 2019 elections.
A cursory review of the events of the past three days, showed first class infrastructure/facilities, advance/human resource and security deployments, peaceful environment in programming and media management and of course a peaceful, and top class product, that is, the emergence of the flag bearers.
This attest to the fact that Rivers State is secured and peaceful. It also reinforces the fact that Rivers State is a tourist destination, a haven for both local and international financial direct investments. By this singular act the Garden City status of Port Harcourt has been Re-invented.
Furthermore, the hosting of this event in Port Harcourt and Rivers State has shown, the positive political engineering credentials of Governor Wike. This has brought (1) Rivers State and its people to the fore of National Politics. (2) Stimulated the local economy of Port Harcourt and by extension Rivers State and (3) Projected Rivers State and his people as friendly, democratic and nationalists in conduct.
We on this platform (Wike for Positive Change) believes that in addition to your monumental projects, you have also exhibited political ingenuity in your calculations as you strive energetically to move the State forward into an enviable platform/position.
Finally, Wike for Positive Change is also very grateful to MR. PROJECTS for making this platform the first amongst equals as the three Senatorial Candidates and almost 60% of the National and State Houses Candidates of the party are our members.
To this we say Meka oooo, Imiete, Madighi, Miebaka, O e kwa doo
At Wike for Positive Change, we are positive and we
believe that the change driver is Wike and Positive
Change is on the way.
