Chief Emeh told his hosts that Governor Wike loves the people of Ogoni and that his love is evidenced in the number of projects and valuable appointments given to sons and daughters of Ogoni, urging them to reciprocate by supporting the governor now and his re-election in 2019.
With the Special Adviser at the defection rally organised by the Grassroots Development Initiative, GDI, were the Secretary to Rivers State Government, Mr. Kenneth Kobani; Commissioner of Finance, Dr. Fred Kpakol; President General of GDI, Bright Amaewhule; Secretary of PDP, Samuel Wanosike and other stalwarts of the PDP in the state.
In their separate speeches , Kenneth Kobani, Dr. Fred Kpakol, Samuel Wanosike and GDI coordinator in Gokana were all united in their advice to the defectors to ensure that they arm themselves with the permanent voters card, PVC, stressing that it is only with the voters card that they can demonstrate their love for Wike and re-elect him in 2019.
